I am a Biomedical Engineer and after finishing studying, like everyone else, I started searching for a job. But I guess I was lucky since in 2012 I had the opportunity to find an amazing team at Instituto de Telecomunicações and together we developed BITalino (www.bitalino.com). Afterwards, since we were also studying the heart signal, I co-founded CardioID, a startup that uses the heart signal to identify people, just like a fingerprint, but also to detect health problems and fatigue states.
