Application Eligibility Criteria

To join, you will have to register on Made of Lisboa Platform and meet the following requirements:

GLOBAL CRITERIA

• Applicants must be tax residents in the municipality of Lisboa or, alternatively, be part of the community of registered Spots.
• Applicants must demonstrate an active digital presence (website or social networks) for credibility and activity purposes.

SPOTS

• One office and tax address (VAT Reg. No.) must be from the municipality of Lisboa.
• Can qualify as Spots the following entities:

Accelerators
Usually Accelerators are programs of limited-duration, that gives developing companies access to mentorship, investors and other support, helping startups become stable, self-sufficient.

Coworks
A shared workplace, often an office, for people who are self-employed or work for different employers, usually sharing equipment, ideas and knowledge.

Fab Labs
A small-scale laboratory with the ability to prototype and manufacture products generally in a small scale and with limited production.

Hubs
Cluster of work spaces or research centers where diversity and innovation happen, providing subject-matter expertise on technology trends, knowledge and strategic innovation management, and industry-specific insights.

Incubators
Institution or company that helps entrepreneurs and startups at an early stage to develop their business, providing support services and equipment for their growth and subsequent empowerment.

Residencies / Co-living
Shared housing, providing services that help strengthening the sense of community, improving the quality of life of its users.

COMPANIES

• Applicants must be tax residents (VAT Reg. No) in the municipality of Lisboa, or, alternatively, be part of Spots community registered in Made of Lisboa Platform.
• Applicants must demonstrate an active digital presence (website or social networks) for credibility and activity purposes.
• Business to Consumer (B2C) companies demonstrating potential for innovation and creativity will be accepted.

Can qualify as Companies the following entities:

Business
Startups and all innovative and creative companies in Lisboa, from different business sectors such as the following list:
Design, Education, Fin Tech, Gaming, Hardware, Healthcare, Circular Economy, Social Innovation, Industrial/ Energy, Internet/ E-Commerce, Investment, IT Services, Legal, Lifestyle/Fashion, Marketing/ Advertising, Media/ Entertainment, Mobile, Software, Sports, Tech, Transportation, Travel among many others.

Research and Academia
Observatories, Research Centres and other academic groups based in Lisboa.

Associations and Non-profit
Non-profit Associations, Organizations, Communities and Networking groups based in Lisboa.

PEOPLE

• Must work in a Company or in a Community Spot registered previously in Made of Lisboa Platform.
  (Freelancers/self-employed must have a VAT registration number as Sociedade Unipessoal, Lda and be registered previously in Made of Lisboa Platform as a Company as well).

Made of Lisboa reserves the right to accept spots, companies or people that don't fit in the global and transversal criteria, which demonstrate merit, quality and excellence in service to the city of Lisboa.
